About you:
You will be an ambitious and proactive Business Development Director who has a high level of integrity and curiosity with a positive mindset. You will have a strong drive to take ownership of the sales function and lead by example demonstrating strong leadership skills.
Skills and Experience
5-8 years of experience working in a digital agency.
Ideally will have domain expertise (e.g. ex-consultant, strategist, engineer) to be able to have informed discussions.
Demonstrated experience in generating new business leads and successfully converting them into clients.
Proven ability to build and nurture meaningful client relationships through regular and relevant communication.
Strong track record of achieving commercial targets and growing a measurable pipeline of opportunities.
Excellent understanding of market trends and the ability to devise effective sales strategies.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with agency leadership.
Experience in managing third-party partnerships and external agencies.
Adept at crafting compelling proposals and RFP responses to win new business.
About the Role:
As the Business Development/Sales Director, you will have a proven track record of generating new business leads, building meaningful relationships, and achieving commercial targets.
You will be responsible for driving the agency's new business growth by generating and converting leads, nurturing client relationships, and achieving agreed commercial targets.
You will lead the sales function, working closely with the discipline leads and agency leadership to define strategies, respond to opportunities, and position the agency for sustained growth. You will develop and refine our target prospect list of Global 2000 companies.
Over time, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a sales team as the agency expands.
