About the Role

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping bring our marketing strategy to life and build brand awareness for Future Platforms. You’ll spend your time helping set the foundations for a good brand (for example, overhauling the existing website), building brand awareness via digital content (on social and long-form) and creating a community relationship-driven approach by hosting our own events and/or collaborating with partners. You’ll work as part of a marketing and sales team and sit underneath the Marketing Director.

Skills and Experience

• 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a digital agency or service-based company

• Event management experience (ideation, organisation and running)

• Experience building brands from the ground up.

• Digital marketing experience for overhauling the website, creating content for social media and the company blog

• A self-starter who is driven to improve, works well independently and demonstrates a thirst for learning.

• Passionate about digital and technology, and eager to be a crucial part of our agency's growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

Event Creation & Organising

• Organising events at our private members club and other venues across London including roundtables

• Organising events and speaking opportunities for our Managing Directors

• Leverage content, email, and social media to promote our events and drive attendance from our target clients.

ABM

• Researching target brands, identifying communities they’re part of and other ways we can get in front of them

Website Management

Our 2024 ambitions involve overhauling the design and copy on the existing website including updating case studies, launching industry/product pages and keeping case studies up to date

Social Media & Content Creation

• Create compelling and informative content individually and in collaboration with subject matter experts.

• Manage and curate content for our social media channels for both the brand as well as our managing director’s personal brands
